This kind of reminds me of lunch after a politician's funeral. Some sit around and talk about how they're glad he's gone, others say, "he will be missed", and some find a window and look at squirrels.

We need more windows :)

I think squirrels are cuter and smarter anyway. ;D

Thanks a bunch I appreciate it!   :)

Two great shots...my wife loves blue crabs and shrimp. Very difficult to get blue crabs here.

This is a macro shot of the tiny buds of a lantana plant prior to opening into individual flowers. That whole cluster in the picture is about the size of a dime.  5d Mk3, 100mm f/2.8 Macro.

I love this shot...gorgeous, sharp and very nice colors. Well done. :)

6D Sample Images / Re: Anything shot with a 6D

My first lightning shoot with my 6D. I usually use my 550D with my Tokina 11-16 f2.8 because I trust that lens at infinity more than any other lens I have owned and I usually shoot lightning that way. Maybe I am doing something wrong but the other lenses that I use for lightning namely my EF 50 f1.4 and EF-S 15-85 f3.5-5.6 don't seem to be sharp at infinity.

These were shot using my EF 16-35 f2.8L II at 35mm. I focused on the tree line. Sadly the sky wasn't completely dark so I couldn't do long exposures and the nice colors in the clouds that come with lightning were muted somewhat. I like how they turned out and love how the files can be worked in post without the banding and other issues that I would have with my 550D.

Quote from Neruo: "As for 'out of air accusations', how would you feel if, hypothetically, I called you, "Not the brightest bulb?"

i would maybe say "get a life and don´t spend half your life on internet forums. you can´t be that bright either".

 ;D

A slight line alteration from "Snow White"

"Mirror, Mirror...on the wall
Who's the Brightest Bulb of all?"  ;D

From Wikipedia..."Snow White" is a German fairy tale known across much of Europe, and is today one of the most famous fairy tales worldwide. The Brothers Grimm published it in 1812 in the first edition of their collection Grimms' Fairy Tales. It was titled in German: Sneewittchen (in modern orthography Schneewittchen), and numbered as Tale 53. The Grimms completed their final revision of the story in 1854.

My Heron fishing buddy returned today and was waiting for me. He was able to catch 2 fish right off the bat.

Here's a great egret from a couple weeks ago lit by late evening setting sunlight. The bird looks like it is about to lose a feather.

Beautiful light in your picture. Very nice shot.

+1 :)

Not best shot... but I like this. It was taken with a Powershot SX50 HS

@215mm that's a 35mm equivalent of 1200mm !

Handheld.

The lack of DR is evident... but I am not complaining for the price. again, great value, this much reach and IS, for less than $500.

That looks great...especially for a P&S camera @1200mm equivalent.

Same picture with 2 different PP. Which one do you prefer?

The second one got my vote. Beautiful colors in your sky.

Same here.

"This squirrel thing is cute,.... and I haven't really seen many answers still as to why this person was banned."

Obviously, it was because he didn't like squirrels ;D
