Lenses / ND filter

Hello, all. Looking for an ND filter. I heard that for using fast primes (faster than f1.4) in sunlight, a 3-stop ND is ideal, but for waterfalls and moving clouds, a 9- to 10-stop is better. Any advice on which one to get? Thanks.

I found this very amusing. Last time I checked the shutter button is on the right hand side. So a left-handed photographer uses his left hand to grab the camera either upside down or with the lens pointing to himself, then hands it over to his right hand for taking photos? Any left-handed photographer here to help explain the rationale behind this product?

Software & Accessories / Small bag for 5D3 + 40 pancake

Hello, all.

Looking for a smallest possible bag for 5d3+40 that I can put in a hiking pack, regular backpack, my wife's hand bags, and my daughter's diaper bag. I'd like to be able to take the combo everywhere practical. I looked at the Lencoat pouch pro online but not sure it would provide adequate protection. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Software & Accessories / Black Rapid Strap with Quick Release Buckle??

One of the major complaints about the fantastic BR strap is that you need to unscrew the FastenR3 in order to attached the plate to the camera body. Since the plate from both RRS and Kirk comes with a strap slot, why can’t we attach the BR strap to the plate via a short quick release buckle (similar to those used in UPStrap but much shorter)? One end is attached to the camera plate and the other to the strap. Actually, the core design concept of BR strap is to use only one attaching point to the camera so that you can pull up your gear quickly. Why does the strap have to be attached to the tripod socket, not to one of the two eyelets which are already securely attached to the camera? Did I miss something important?

BR is an innovative design, but other followers including Sun Sniper, Carry Speed, C-loop, Luma Loop, etc., just copied the tripod socket attachment concept. 

Any thoughts?
