teh only detractor i see is the CUSTOMS charge from 90% of the transits over the border.

I wonder if there is a alternate retailer.

Kinda $hitty of Canon to say the new 1DX is their "flagship" only to come out with the "real" flagship shortly afterward.  ???

This frustrats me....the 1dx is the flagship for spots action and events!  This will be the studio flagship, both types of shooting have different needs and thus the bodies will be spec'ed in a different way

You & Canon both need to decide on WHAT "A" flagship is.  ::) ....There can only be one per manufacturer ...

i have to agree , i don't like playing guessing games with  LARGE purchases though. FLAGSHIP does hint at top of the top.  anywho im married to the brand.

Just acquired my 1DX and it had a BAD charger  first second right out of the box.  Pain full 2 batteries and no juice had to wait a few days to get the Camera store to help me. So yeah i can see them shipping a bum camera shameful 7000$ and  quirks, but its the market we live in.

IN the STUDIO they just work 1 2 3 easy, OUT doors wow random, if you get them working thats it teh whole day SHOULD run smooth , but  if you don't  it takes precious minutes,

I suggest marry a TT5 to its FLASH seems  if they like each other they work fine he he goofy i know but  i have had wonderful results with PW and other times i felt like a rank amature

I just wish they would work better than any Cheapies cause we sure are paying the money for them.

Seems the 32 GB LEXAR 1000x is at least a small factor in the lockups! maybe that's why they are ON sale at BH.

they sit on things until a market can support mass production.

YOu want a trigger for shutter release it seems on teh 5D MK III, most i have used for canon have some hiccup.

IF you can afford a cable run then get a wired cable (i know not what you want) but id say i have never misfired with a cable, wireless can be sketchy as generally its 3rd party and some canon OVER priced solutions and IR/line of sight to the BODY.

If Some one knows a a GOOD wireless Trigger for the Shutter release of any canon please POST!
