It's really fun to be near the beach.  It takes all your problems away.  Here's an early morning run...

A wedding in France.  I don't own the 6D, I rented it for this wedding after reading Dustin's review of it.  I'm so glad I made this choice, it's such a wonderful camera.

I really like this image. I hope you don't mind but I did a little rework.
Too often we lose sight of the fact that photography is about capturing light, if we have the ability to take control of that light then we grow exponentially as photographers. More often than not the image is not about lens speed, sensor size, MP's or AF, it is about the light.

For this shot I used an old Contax 50/1.9. It was quite hard to take because I had to focus before taking the shot and the camera was almost touching the water, so I couldn't see where I was focusing nor where was I framing. What do you guys think?

Nicely done.  I find some of the vintage glass (Helios and Takumars are mostly what I use) have really beautiful color rendering.  Less clinical than modern lenses.  Focus looks pretty good for the scenario that were describing (which is, by the way, why I wish that Canon had included the articulating screen with the 6D).

Water fun ride!

Your beach and water pictures are very nice, Jason.  Bright, happy images with nice exposure.

I always welcome constructive criticism.  The original picture was actually a bit darker/richer.  Not quite your version (and certainly not the falloff at the corners), but I lifted the colors a bit so the couple can print it and get a nice result for their album, as I don't trust that they will use a print shop that can deliver accuracy in dark colors.  Regarding the tone change, I like the floor/wall and the bride's skin, in your version, but I'm not sure about the dress.
I will be posting more pictures from this wedding, so come back for more suggestions if you feel like it.

Very nice, Dustin. Beautiful clouds and sunset. What is that bluish-green aquamarine ;) stuff in the foreground?

Here's a recent fall landscape shot with my 6D and the 24-105mm lens. I gave it an HDR treatment to bring out the colors - hopefully it's not too over-the-top!

Looks natural to me. I don't think I would have guessed HDR. Wish we had pretty fall colors like that here in Hawaii (leaves are either green or dead brown).

But on the other hand, in January you'll be Hawaii - and I'll be in Michigan looking at snow and bare trees, and freezing!

+1.  As always, his PP is top-notch.  One of these days, you've got to show it to me Dustin... I'm just waiting for my family's visa to go to Canada.  :)
