I just have a hard time believing that a stockable number of units just happened to get processed and approved from the refurbishment department in that two-day period. They'll stay in stock for a reasonable period of time because, after tax and shipping, they'll cost maybe $50 less than brand new from another dealer who will also bundle them with extras and offer other incentives and what not.
I recently got one of the $80 shorty forty deals, but I had to check the webpage around the clock. I used to have alerts set up but I got tired of dealing with that.
I guess I just wish they could walk the line between OMG-crazy-deal-sold-out-in-minutes and not-really-worth-it.
They come into, and go out of stock in minutes. I picked one up 2 days ago for $439. Of course, with tax it was $466. Not a great deal, but a good one.
