I put some spinners on my 5D mkiii neck strap... you know... to impress the bitches.
Upgrade  path.->means the former was sold for the latter.

XS->60D->5d Mkiii:18-55->24-105L:75-300->55-250->70-300->70-200 f4L USM->70-200 f/2.8L USM->70-200 f/2.8L IS Mkii:50 f/1.8->50 f/1.4->100L-> 85mm f/1.8 USM-> 8mm -> 85mm f/1.2L mkii

I suppose it maks sense that everything is soldered onto the board, to deter "improvements" by people.  Oh well, I'll just have to save up for the mythical 7D2 (or whatever it will be called).

If you want a refrigerator sized camera, that's what you'd get without surface mount parts, the size would be out of this world.  Those tiny 1/32 in components that are first glued in place by robots and then reflow soldered are the only way we are able to get reasonably sized cameras.
 
Were you really thinking that every component should be bolted on like a car?

I put neon on the bottom of mine for the same reason ;)  Sending it off to get it chromed after I finish paying off my tats and the hydraulics I put on my ride ;D
