Wow- little light funnels means they don't need BSI to achieve the same performance.
Technology will cost a bit though.
We'll have to see if the development samples turn into the same specs in produciton.

From those who don't want to do the maths themselves, a 3.4um pitch sensor gives you:

APS-C : 29 megapixels
FF:  74 megapixels

But for this sensor, it's only 5887200 pixels, 5.8MP.
