here's a few newer ones
I'm not one for spending time in PP, but when I see some that are edited well like these two portraits, it does make me more tempted to spend time exploring the limits of Photoshop.

I try to use lightroom for the bulk of things, and PS for fine tuning.  But sometimes i like to work with duplicates of the same frame, one pushed for highlights and one pushed for shadow...sometimes i will hdr them, or, layers in PS.  And sometimes its just playing with the images, and seeing what can be done!

That's what I've done on a couple of shoots lately too. I also tend to do a lot in LR.
Here are some more from a shoot on Friday evening.

Thanks Chuck. I saw the hedge and the idea just came to me, so I instructed the model to pretend it was a wall to lean on lol. The second from last is also one of my favourites. The model saw the water and wanted to go paddling, then I saw the sun and put my twist on that one.
That's a nice setting for that type of portrait Chuck, I like it.

May be a tad trite, but I had to take the opportunity to get this shot during my mini-vacation in Watkins Glen.

Thx Kernuak & Romain!

@Kernuak - Haha, I was kinda iffy about the dust texture. Got a few comments saying they liked it and a couple who weren't very fond of it  :o  But this was shot wide open on the 50L @ f/1.2 (with an ND Filter attached), and an Alien Bee AB1600 to the right of the model. Pretty much all!  ;D
