7D issue

Hi guys,

Hadn't used my 7d in about a year and i powered it on today and the display inside the viewfinder (meter etc)... is all off.

Have I accidentally changed a setting? ANyone had this?

I'd make sure your battery hasen't become weak, and do a total camera reset.  I don't think its possible to turn it off.
 
Can you see thru the viewfinder when you turn the camera on?  If so, its getting power.

Hmm no luck with either...

Assuming the hard reset is pulling the battery and the mini battery out and replacing it so it asks for date and time etc

Pretty sure its not an option to turn off. 
5D III, 7D, 16-35 F2.8L, 24-70 F2.8L, 50 F1.4
