Moore filters effect on stills

I've been looking at the moire filters for 5d2 and 7d from Mosaic

Does anyone here use this?

What kind of effect would this have on stills?

The show simple on-off - but since we're deep in the body at this point, would repeated AFMA. E something that is required with each "winter tire change" ??
