When can you get one?
The new Rebel T4i/650D will be available in stores fairly soon. Below is a list that is to the best of my knowledge as to when you can expect shipments to start for the new flagship Rebel.

Rebel T4i Body Only & Rebel T4i w/18-55 IS II Kit

• Adorama – Unknown
• Amazon – Unknown
• B&H – June 19, 2012
• Best Buy – June 17, 2012
• Camera Canada – “Mid June”

Rebel T4i w/18-135 IS STM Kit

• Adorama – Unknown
• Amazon – Unknown
• B&H – Early July
• Camera Canada – Early July

Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM

• Adorama – Late June
• Amazon – Late June
• B&H – Late June
• Camera Canada – Late June

By the looks of things, and what people have told me. Initial stock for all the above items should be pretty good initially and be great in July and August. There appears to be a wait for the T4i w/18-135 IS STM kit initially, although the lens by itself is showing availability in late June, we’ll see what transpires with that.

I'm new to this world (and this forum! hello!). Historically speaking, would Amazon be just as good of a place to preorder as B & H? Does one tend to get more stock..or more demand?
