Ordered mine from Calumet on-line. They are saying "We don't really know, Canon aren't keeping us informed, maybe a few this month is the best that we know"

Ordered mine from LCE Southampton on the 30th June & paid a £500 quid deposit, & it arrived on the 18th July. SORTED. I am a Canon CPS Gold member, for what it worth?
BUT it has got the AFMA issue though & I have reported it to LCE asking them to contact Canon & get back to me.

I picked mine up from Jessops today! I'm just waiting for the battery to finish charging and then I'll take some snaps  ;D ;D

Mine is being delivered in the next few days :))!!  Battery availability seems to  a problem though, this may be a daft question is there a  battery included with the camera and are my old 7d batteries going to be compatible with the 1dx?

Yes, one battery is included. No, your 7D batteries are not compatible.

I'm over the moon with my 1DX, I'm sure you'll enjoy yours too  :)

I love the fact I no longer work for the camera shop I used to, so now I am looking at 9138 USD compared to 7476 USD.. Plus I can't get a hold of one...

Needles to say I am envious of you guys that have gotten yours...
