A couple of recent shots taken on glasgow's back streets

See they're wearing the same underwear  - typical Scot - too tight to pay for two sets  ;D

Not going to be able to compete with Bornshooters last couple, this wasn't the Back Streets of Glasgow, obviously, this young Lady though is in Fur, well, hair coat at least.

1Dx 400f/2.8, Shot @ f/2.8 1/160th ISO 1600

I'de also add it's very difficult getting these Guys in Trees, probably a bit like those Ladies from Glasgow's back streets I would imagine, and I have a good imagination.

Great shot Edward... Of course it's difficult to compete with Bornshooter's Glasgow's girls, but it's a beautiful B&W.

I can't compete with Edward's wildlife or Bornshooter's women, but I do enjoy shooting sports, especially hockey. The two from the Predators-Blackhawks game were shot with the 200 f2.8L II, ISO 2000, 1/1250 sec. @ f3.2. The two from the Lightning-Panthers game were shot with the 70-200 f2.8L II, ISO 2500, 1/2000 sec. @ f3.5.

And sometimes I do get to shoot outdoors. The first two were with the 300 f2.8L, ISO 200, 1/4000 @ f3.2, and the others were with the 70-200 f2.8L II, ISO 200, 1/5000 sec. @ f3.2.

Very nice captures eli72, I think these Lads may take the Games seriously.

Excellent shot, I tried a few of these last tip to Africa (We don't see the Moon so much in Singapore & Jakarta), to get it right, as you've done, is a lot harder than most People think, well done, amazing detail.

And congrats on the 200-400, what are your impressions ??

Thanks. As I mentioned earlier, I haven't had a chance to shoot more than about 50 shots with it because it's been raining here so much. So far, I'm really impressed with the sharpness wide open. I haven't tried to track any moving objects, but hope to get out soon to do some of that. I do not think that I'd want to handhold it for very long because it is pretty heavy. I'm certainly inspired by the shots that you got on safari.
