Thank you Jim.

Excellent timing Schultzie, done with a 1Dx & a time machine, the background totally makes the shot work, well done.

Love this, sunrise ? with a twist, well done.

Interested to know what you housed the 1Dx in, I've considered it, but have stuck with Housing the 5DMK III in a Seacam, I also have the 1DMK IV in a Seacam for my Macro, but find the 40% bigger footprint in strong current too much of a handful for wide angle work when combined with a pair of Seacam Strobes, and the 1Dx is again bigger than the 1DMK IV.

I'm thinking you may have used an Ikelite, in any case, well done, had a look at your site as well, some excellent Images there.

Thanks so much, guys!

24mm f/1.4L II - 1/1000 @ f/5.6 ISO 400

I’m afraid the “looking out of the tube at the sunrise” has been done and re-done much better by other photographers since the 1970’s.  Hopefully, the sun partly covered by the lip makes this one worth a look.

Here’s the master of shorepound photographers:
http://www.clarklittlephotography.com/gallery/gallery/3-0-MainGallery.html
Clark Little has inspired a whole generation of shooters to dive into the ocean with GoPro’s (much like how in the 1980’s Eddie Van Halen started a stampede of pimply-face kids charging into music stores in pursuit of Stratocasters.)

My housing is a cheap fiberglass “splash” housing with a minimum of controls that won’t withstand the pressure of scuba diving.  I’m afraid I can’t give a good to recommendation for the builder of this housing but if I were going to buy another housing for a 1DX I would try CMT:
http://www.cmtwaterhousings.com/

Thanks again for all the kind comments and thanks for sharing all the great photos on this thread.

Dunno but Mordred son of Morgana was the main antagonist in the English / French Arthurian legends, ultimately responsible for the death of King Arthur and the fall of Camelot.

There was a film made in the 1980s by John Boorman called 'Excalibur'. It re told the traditional tale. Many of the leading actors that Boorman used were more theatre than film. it's worth seeing.

Cool, thanks. I never thought of King Arthur as someone who died - just left the building...

That shot of Mauldron was taken at the Bristol Renaissance Faire near Kenosha, WI.  Not sure where he got the name from, but that's what he goes by :)  At the end of the day at 5:30 they do a big joust to the death.  They joust back and forth a bit before they all fall of their horses and fight each other.

Svalbard Northern Islands, around 80 degrees North.

I was surprised at the size of Walrus, these were huge Animals in many cases the size of Elephant Seals I had seen in 2012 at McQuarie Island in the Antarctic, with the addition of pretty fearsome Tusks, which they had no qualms about using on each other.

Walrus Image 1Dx 200-400f/4, Shot @ 400mm f/4.5 & 1/1250th ISO250

The Harp Seals, along with the Bearded & Ringed Seals are the main Prey for Polar Bears, I found it difficult to find an interesting way to shoot these guys, other than in the jaws of a Polar Bear, unfortunately on this trip that wasn't to be, but in 2010 on a trip to the North Pole, we saw several Polar Bear Kills in the Russian Franz Joseph Land Islands.
