In the interest of some hope of getting this thread back on track, I'll post a recent 1D X + 300 f/2.8 IS II + CPL shot
Very good point and very good image, with a slightly unusual use of the 300/2.8. That kind of light is Not easy and the polarizer effect was brilliant. Good job!
Also, the full moon. The next Friday the 13th full moon we´ll have here is in 49 years!

When I returned from this trip, I handed in the 1DX to CPS for sensor cleaning. When I picked it up (later the same day!!), they had changed the whole mirror housing, due to wear and tear. I had previously done the recommended services, but still it happened. I only have about 20.000 exp on it, so it was a bit of a surprise. My serial number is 072012001217, so if you have one prior or around that number, it could be that you should have it checked.
