For all your Australian readers, it seems Canon Australia has announced pricing and availability of the 5D Mk II.
I don't know the official RRP, but www.dirtcheapcameras.com.au has them for AUD$3,950 inc. GST.
They're expecting shipments by the 31st of October.
There will be a lot of jealous folks on this side of the planet. I'm still being told first week of December in Canada.
