Over a POTN there is a thread talking about a “1D X Successor”, basically a “slower 1DX”. Judging by the rumored price of $4000 AUD, I wouldn't think it's an “EOS-1” body, perhaps a large megapixel camera above the 5D Mark III.
I believe we'll only see one new full frame camera in 2012, unless something gets announced at the end of 2012 for availability in 2013.
