Today’s been a busy release day ahead of IBC that starts on September 12th, and to further Canon’s new entries for that conference, they have announced the CiniServo 11-55mm F2.95. This lens is designed for Super 35 sensors but also includes a built-in focal extender for full-frame sensors. Canon leaves nothing on the table when it comes to its top-end cinema cameras and lenses, and this is no exception.
The lens is designed with 8K sensors in mind and has a 60cm minimum focus distance.
It weighs in at 6.43lbs, and its price? If you have to ask…well, it’s $35,000 and pocket change.
