A Canon Rumors reader sent in some thoughts and observations about the upcoming Canon EOS 5DS & EOS 5DS R cameras at an event in Hong Kong.
OBSERVATIONS
- Sturdy build quality, could be better than the EOS 5D Mark III
- Viewfinder displays are quite complex
- As suspected, still running beta software
- The shutter sound is quite soft
- Continuous shooting feels slow, but we knew that already
- Large sample prints looked great
The Canon EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R are not yet available for preorder, but they are expected to start shipping at the end of June.
