In a stunning move, Canon will launch the Canon RF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 in North America this week!

Canon officially announced the Canon RF 75-300mm f/4.5-5.6 Coming to North America This Week! in late April everywhere outside of North America. It may have been tariff related.

In our opinion, this thing was the worst lens for the EF lineup, maybe along with the EF 28mm f/1.8 USM, outside of some of those kit lenses.

It looks like Canon is going to be pushing the entry-level part of the lineup with new buying options for the EOS R100. Richard is finally ready to jump in.

Volume is important for unit sales bragging rights. Without a doubt, Canon could have definitely done better for entry-level and budget-conscious buyers.

No new products are scheduled to be announced until the end of August we have been told, but Q4 will have some “major” products announced.

Enjoy the great news.
