The BCN Japan 2016 award winners have been announced in various segments of the digital imaging world. Canon continues to show strong sales in point & shoot and DSLR camera sales. The surprising finish for Canon in Japan is third place in mirrorless sales.
Keep in mind Japan may not represent the rest of the world, especially when it comes to mirrorless. That is the one marketplace where mirrorless cameras have had the most acceptance.
We suspect point and shoot and DSLR sales would favour Canon on most of the planet.
