One of the strangest things that I have heard in a long time. Apparently Canon will be announcing a “Limited Edition” PowerShot G7 X Mark III. What will make it “limited” outside of one production run and they're gone?

Hommage to the AE-1?
I can't think of anything outside of a new paint job and maybe grip material. I can't see them changing things like the lens or image sensor. Maybe it'll be some kind of hommage to the AE-1, which celebrates it's 50th birthday this year.
Canon has done some limited run colours for various cameras over the years, but those are usually for the Japanese market. This one looks like it'll be coming to North America.
The silver PowerShot G7 X Mark III already looks great to me.
What about a monochrome? That would be kind of cool, I need an “affordable” monochrome camera to take crappy B&W photos at the sensor.
Maybe they'll go full Hasselblad Lunar?

What do you think will make it limited?
Sound off on the forum if you can think of anything that would make this “Limited” thing cool. I have nothing else to add to this one.
I really don't think this is a troll, but if it is? That's mean.

Just the intelligence of anyone who would pay extra for gold paint.
