B&H Photo and Canon USA have launched a new trade-in bonus program for select Canon EOS R and Cinema EOS gear. You simply send in your used gear to B&H Photo, they pay you for it and then you get a bonus on the trade-in to use on new gear.

Cinema EOS

The Cinema EOS bonus is up to $800 if used towards the Cinema EOS C400 plus $350 instant savings as well as a $300 trade-in bonus on the Cinema EOS C80.

Canon EOS R

The EOS R program has trade-in bonuses of up to $500 bonus when you trade-in your older gear at B&H Photo. There are offers on both RF lenses and EOS R cameras.

Remember, the bonus is on top of your trade-in value, and B&H pays a fair market value, so you don't have to deal with 1 on 1 used gear selling if you don't want to. They also don't take 10% like eBay does outside of a listing bonus.

How it Works

  • For EOS R/RF Products, head to the quote section here at B&H Photo and find the gear you're selling from the search box.
  • Submit the condition of your product. B&H Photo will raise or lower their quote if you didn't rate it to match their system. B&H is more than fair and any quote change up or down won't be too significant.
  • Select the accessories that you will send with the camera.
  • You wil see your instant quote at the bottom right side of the page
  • If you accept the offer, press add to basket.
  • You'll then be asked to enter your information.
  • B&H Photo will email you a shipping label and you send your gear off to them.
  • Once received, B&H Photo will inspect the gear and activate the bonus and trade-in value for your account to put towards qualifying Canon gear.

Canon Spring Trade-In Program

Whether you’re a video shooter looking to jump into a Cinema EOS Camera like the C80 or C400 or a photogerapher looking for the ultimate performance for an EOS R1 or EOS R5 Mark II, this is a good option to upgrade your current gear.

Even if you have gear you don't use, a lot of us end up like that. This is an easy way to move to gear that you will use.
