Feeling the pressure from authorized resellers has probably forced Canon USA to significantly lower MAP (minimum advertised price) prices on the EOS 5D Mark III & EOS 6D. Both of those cameras have dropped a lot in price probably due to currency fluctuations. Beyond the price drops, Canon has also switched the mail-in rebate to an instant rebate and added the EOS 7D Mark II to that. Are these reductions enough to get people away from grey market cameras out there? I'm not sure.
