GetItDigital (99.7% approval) is selling the Canon EOS 5DS body for $2999 (Reg $3699) via ebay. This has dropped faster than I ever expected it would. This does tell us that there is a shortage of the EOS 5DS R and Canon may have been wrong about which body was going to be more popular between the two. I've shot with both bodies, and while the 5DS R does show more detail, the EOS 5DS at $800 less just may be the better choice for some.
