This is now the lease expensive medium format digital camera on the market. The Pentax 645D has dropped to $3996 from authorized retailers. The CCD based 645D has been replaced by the 50mp CMOS sensor based 645Z, which retailers for just under $8000 USD. A lot of people do prefer the look of CCD sensors at low ISO.
