Thanksgiving sales are upon us, and I've compiled a list of some of the best ones I liked today.
I'm eyeballing some great savings on camera accessories that we always need more of and well, cameras because hey that's the way we roll here.
I'm looking at value for your dollar, because regardless of sales – that's an important thing to note. So you'll see a lot of kits here, and the reason why – you can always split up the kits and sell the parts you don't want, or you can use the kits down the road as increased value for when you sell the camera used.
This is going to be a live article I will be updating as I find more deals this weekend and next week, so keep an eye on it.
I have made no qualms about shoving memory cards in just about every week's featured list because replacing your memory cards IS important. You should be rotating them, and tossing them after a time and replacing them with new ones.
The reason why is simply – that they are a less complicated form of an NVMe or SSD drive, where the amount of writes will determine the longevity of the card. As the bytes get written to the card, there's more of a chance of a bad bit on the card, get too many of them and your card goes bad, and that happens quickly.
So if you lose a card duing an important event, trip or shoot – don't be looking at me, I told you.
We know that the R6 Mark III is coming “soonish” and that is leading to some great deals on the R6 Mark II. The base R6 Mark II is on sale for $500 off it's regular price, but that's not the best deal out there.
This is just a stupid good bundle. and the best part? Everything you see outside of the R6 Mark II – is provided to you for FREE.
Just the spare batteries alone are worth going .. hey this is a great deal.
What's included for free in the bundle;

ProOptic Complete Optics Care & Cleaning Kit
I'm really not a fan of the R100. But let's do the napkin math on this kit that costs $499.
You get a bunch of accessories and $650 worth of lenses included in with the Canon EOS R100. Basically they are giving you $150 to please, for the love of god, take the R100 please.
These types of kits I would always eyeball for a few reasons.
You can split up the kit, fleabay or marketplace sell off the lenses as new open box, and really profit from the entire thing.
You can also use the R100 as a webcam and use the lenses on another APS-C RF camera that doesn't give you the heebies to use. An APS-C webcam would normally be incredibly expensive, but toss in a $20 1080p to USB capture device, and you are off to the races. Even if you just sell off the 55-210mm lens, that would recover over half the cost of the entire R100 bundle.
This is a great telephoto lens for the RF system regardless of what camera you are using, and it's listed here for two reasons. It's on sale, and just as surprising, it's in stock. So basically a unicorn.
The basic features of this lens include;
- RF-Mount Lens/Full-Frame Format
- Aperture Range: f/4.5-7.1 to f/32-54
- One Super UD Element, Six UD Elements
- Dual Nano USM AF System
- Optical Image Stabilizer
- Weather-Sealed Design, Fluorine Coating
- Customizable Control Ring
- Rotating Zoom Ring, Torque Adjustment
- Rounded 9-Blade Diaphragm
- Compatible with RF Extenders
