And we are back with another installment. Welcome back and I hope you have great plans for the weekend. Here are some deals that I found interesting this week. As I mentioned before, these are not necessarily weekend-only deals, but longer-running ones, and ones i just found interesting outside of the normal deals that we post daily.
Canon R50 - For the Beginner
We are all not seasoned pros, and bundle deals like this are ones I espcially like because beginners dont' have shelves or boxes full of stuff to use with their cameras.
A small camera bag, filters and an SD card is a great starting bundle with the already good Canon EOS R50 dual lens kit with the 18-45mm and the 45 to 180mm RF-S lenses.
Adorama has some larger bundles, but I'm not sure of the value proposition, so this one is my bundle recommendation.
We feature daily many deals on some of the other stuff in the the more expensive bundles that are generally better gear and relatively inexpensive. So I suggest this one is best, because it's absolutely free, as the regular price of the Canon EOS R50 dual lens kit is exact same price without the bundled items and fill in the rest of your kit with our daily deal selections.
SmallRig V Mount Battery VB99 SE
These batteries are awesome for when you are shooting out where there is no direct power, and have a ton of devices.
Packing up to 99WH of charge goodness, the SmallRig V Mount batteries can be used to directly power your Canon EOS R5, Canon EOS R6 or the Canon EOS R6 Mark II cameras as well as any other Canon camera that uses an LP-E6 styled battery.
Addtionally you can use this to charge other devices as well.
Just make sure that if you are flying that this conforms to your airline rules on lithium batteries.
Samsung 4TB 990 PRO
Pricing for NVMe solid state drives have dropped in price to around the $50 per terrabyte over the last year or so. But Samsung is still the premier brand for NVMe's especially their PRO lineup.
Even if you are not purchasing any new NVMe's now is a good time to check your bytes written on your current drives. It's never a bad idea to make sure you are no where close to the limits and that your NVMe is still writing out fine.
This is a great deal for a Samsung PRO NVMe, that actualy drops it quite close to the what the more discount brands are in terms of price per TB. To get the most out of this, your laptop or computer needs to have a PCIe 4.0 slot capable of holding the NVMe.
Just make sure the firmware is up to date on the 990 PRO if you do purchase this one, as the earlier version of the firwmare had some issues.
