Famous last words … but seriously, good luck!I'm going to take a chance on this. Most that have loaded 1.1 report no issues and my guess is Canon properly vetted this release. Wish me luck.

It was only added to the R1, not to the R5IISo, where's Panning Assist announced in 1.1.0?
Firmware installed, camera still works as expected. The wifi7 access point fix doesn’t seem to have a noticeable effect, it still takes the camera over a minute to connect![]()
You might add it to the Q.a quick way to turn on/off precapture
I agree! Still shoots in RAW on the R5 after updating firmware, so why did they change it to JPEG on the R5M2? Arrrgh. My dear Canon! Please bring back RAW saving when shooting multiple exposures! In Canon R5 all multiple exposure modes were saved in RAW. Why does Canon R5 m2 only work in JPEG format for multiple exposures?
see https://cam.start.canon/en/C017/manual/html/UG-03_Shooting-1_0340.htmlYou might add it to the Q.

EDIT:
In the english version C017 it is page 292.
Yes!I suspect this is about single-image-multiple-exposure type of thing, like this:

I assume that it did not work correctlyWhere is the panning assist ? It was in the 1.1.0 ! And now removed from 1.1.1 ? Cmon
I used the function called "focus bracketing" I got a composite file in camera but also the single images taken. And they're all JPEGs, which got me confused. But I have not used that feature before and might have overlooked some detailed settingAre we talking in-camera focus stackingi where it generates a final image? Or focus bracketing? I haven’t used focus bracketing since switching to the R5II but that saved RAW files. Never even thought to look.
The focus bracketing feature should use the format you picked in the main settings for the single images. The composite is always a JPEG. I get a bunch of cRAWs and the composite JPEG on my R5II.I used the function called "focus bracketing" I got a composite file in camera but also the single images taken. maybe there is a contact?
You can simply leave it on all the time and if you use back button focus you can choose to half press the shutter when you want it on and not half press when you want it offsniff, i was hoping for a quick way to turn on/off precapture other than custom settings.
