It's been cold in Chicago so I haven't really ventured out much but this was a grab right out my back door. The neighbor a couple houses down has out bird feeders which draw plenty of squirrels, well lunch was served...

I didn't grab my camera until they decided to relax after the meal. I got a close as I could without spooking them or becoming desert. It's about a 50% crop.

Moose in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado

One under the overcast on the east side of the Continental Divide in a pond alongside the Fall River at 8,560 ft elevation. I'm over 1.5 miles away at 10,800 ft elevation.

One in the shade on the west side near the Colorado River. This one was a bit closer.

Here's one more. Josh and I are going to eat and drink tonight and look at photos tomorrow. We're going to do an article together about the shoots.

The Iberian Lynx is a stunning cat.

Big whites are stupid expensive, but if there's one to own for many situations, it's the 100-300.

Here are few shots from last weekend using R5II+RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z lens. The lens is really marvellous even with 1,4x and 2,0x extenders. The first one is taken with 1.4x extender attached.4W5A3615.jpg4W5A3783-web.jpg4W5A3866-web.jpg4W5A3951-web.jpg
