Canon EOS R6 V Specs: Active Cooling and more…

I have unsubscribed from his channel long time ago because of the clickbait title frustration and time-wasting. But Google keeps recommending his stuff so I often end up watching anyway. šŸ˜…
Haha, same. When searching for rumors about Canon cameras rumors on YouTube, his channel often come out on the top 5 YouTube and sometimes the bait is to strong to not click :D

It feels like Canon is doing something Sony did a long time ago, which is something I've really wanted them to do and a big reason why I've been jealous of the Sony ecosystem. You get the FX3/ENG oriented cine camera body, the A7s3 photo-oriented body, and now you get the ZV-E1/creator oriented body. Same sensor, more or less the same specs give or take, but more choice for body style and price bracket. I travel and have adopted the C50 as my A cam and begrudgingly lug my C70 with me as B camera, but this would probably make a compelling travel companion to the C50 more so than the R63.

If this one (R6 V) has S&F mode on steroids meaning recording frame rates from 1/10, 1/9, 1/8 fps to ~ 50 fps in single steps PLUS 360° angle for all fps it might be my choice but I think this is utopia!

Generally maybe a good triple choice of cameras:
→ R6 iii: Photo optimized hybrid with good video specs / PPPPPPVVV (P photo, V video)
→ R6 V: Video optimized hybrid, excellend for gimbal, drone (compact, IBIS) / PPPPVVVVV
→ C50: Video system with good 2nd body photo capabilities for well defined productions (tripod, XLR audio etc) / PPVVVVVVV

So this is exactly as the C50 with ibis? Im not seeing the difference except for ibis
I think the R6 V is planned to be a good 2nd body to R6 cameras with similar user interface.
Another difference is "no handle" and "no XLR input"
Additional benefit: small, light for gimbal/drone use which might be a domain for hybrid shooters e.g. journalists.

A new remote? That tiny little detail in this rumor is what might actually interest me :) Does anybody use the Canon BR-E1 with the Canon R5? I“d love to hear about your experience. I“m getting tired of using "camera connect" as a remote and I am actively searching for BT option. It would be great if I can find one with a timer or a small display that shows the time in bulb mode. I am open for any suggestions :)
I actually have both, but I never used them together since that's not my style of photography.. I can check once I get back home :)

I have been begging and crying for a compact ff for years. Now it's here and I can't decide to be happy or sad.
It's the usual - it's too big, too heavy, too expensive.

- 5X(!) the _current_ price of the R50V, it's basically the price of the R6m3
- only 20% smaller than the R6m3 while the R50V is more than 40%(!) smaller than the R50 despite the R50 already being small
- only 100g lighter than the R6m3
- SONY's 33MP and 60MP ff compact is 40% smaller than the R6V!!!!! What is happening here?!?!

OK, maybe I'm looking at it wrong and this is absolutely a cinema camera since it's doing 7K raw and should be compared to C series only and by no means is this a ff compact for photography, any such capability is just a sideeffect...as in C series.
In that case, I need to wait for R8V maybe?

S9 showed me the promise of small ff than's not a leica or so (also the sigma bf). It's WONDERFUL. I'm not sure why the r8 design is so uninspired/goofy considering how sexy the m62 was, and it has no ibis either.
