5D III Manual Mode Problem

When in the studio shooting manual mode with my 5D III, I get an "L" indication when I try to change the aperture using the rear wheel. The aperture won't change. I am able to successfully change the aperture using the LCD screen display. I do not get this problem with the 1D-X or 5D II. What am I doing wrong?

Found the answer to my own question by calling CPS. I had the lock switch on the back of the camera inadvertantly in the "Locked" position. Oops.
