There is just not enough difference between these lenses to tell any difference, and that's before using a different point of focus and focal length. I would think more people preferred the 135 image because it is in focus and crisper. I still think you did well to get that shake free at 160th !

I was mostly interested in what difference(s) people saw or did not see. Over a 100 people came to the poll but unfortunately only a handful of people decided to vote.

I think I was quite up-front about the front-focusing issue though. It wasn't my fault the event camera was front focusing with the 70-200mm. :'(

p.s. If it the zoom shot was focused further back on the eye of the model, then the background would have been less blurred and appear to have more clarity. I suspect that would have favored the 135L shot even more.

i want to like the 135 better, but in these shots i think the bokeh of the the 70-200 is actually nicer. the 135 is showing a lot more fringing and cat's eyes.
