Since they refer to having read about it on another website, why not link to the source. There is little information on the page you link to. Most sites that quote information from someone else at least provide a link to the original article.
The Photography Bay website which posted it originally says they received a rumor from a source that is new to them, and of unknown accuracy. Read that as possibly being a 9 year old kid playing with his iphone.
"This is a new source; however, the logic of this camera and the info provided seems reasonable and a little more in line with recent rumors of the next pro DSLR from Canon. If this is the real deal, expect to hear lots more about it over the next few weeks leading up to the announcement."
Does any one else think it is *interest* that one of the pixel dimensions is 8192, a power of 2. I have never seen that in any camera before. : Looks like someone made up a rumor without even thinking about it carefully.
