Hmmm - good question. MKiv could have vastly increased MP and even better ISO performance than MKiii. Prolly just get mkii and wait 3-5 years for MKiv.

That's my advice.

I'd think we can reasonably assume that the next 5D would have 39 megapixels... since they are doing 3x3;pixel binning now, they'd just have to increase to 4x4
