With the 5DIV's higher resolution, will haze from mist, salt-spray, light fog, dust, or whatever might be dispersed in the outdoor air be harder or easier to deal with than on the 5DIII?

In our area we run into one or more of the above haze conditions many days of the year. After reading the Digital Pictures "review" (overview) of the new 5DIV, and the discussion of higher res effects on shutter speeds and f/stop (diffraction), I wondered about the haze.

Perhaps 5Ds/r owners have insights?

Thanks.

The fog affects the image by reducing the contrast, and sharpness. The fog not distinguish at the pixel level, and should not affect no more, no less, as the amount of megapixel increases.

Whereas 5D Mark IV has the ability to enlargement more than Mark iii, you may find that the 30 megapixel are a waste. That's just a perception, based on solving capacity "idle" and not a real difference between Mark iii, and Mark iv.
