I think ants are so common and play a very important role in nature that they deserve a dedicated thread here.
I didn't want to put them to "assorted insects".
I was fascinated by ants from my childhood on, and I am still.
To be honest, I only like them when they stay outside my house. And I can remember the day when a wedding flight of ants took place in my grandma's sleeping room, because they took the wrong way out of the wall, where they were living in.
And I still get scared when I think of the horror film Phase IV.
