I wouldn't expect much discounting on the EOS R this soon but if I was in the market for a 5D iv right now, based on what Canon did last yr., I'd probably wait a few weeks for Black Friday promos. Last yr's promo introduced aggressively lower prices and a free grip thrown in to boot. Will be interesting to see what Canon does this yr across all their lines starting on Black Friday. Now, if I just had a pocket full of money!

The 5D Mark IV lower price with the grip deals have started! It was hard to watch all those deals last year (and actually at other times throughout the year) but I am doing something about it this time.

For those based in the UK Dale Photographic have reduced the price of EOS R to £2114.10, a saving of £234.90.
