Cover glass for 5D4 touch-screen?

Dear Friends: I sometimes bang around my gear a bit harder than I would like, and it has been my custom always to keep a high-quality multilayer cover-glass affixed to the rear LCD -- a cover-glass of the Giotto or Vello sort, though not always those brands. This has worked out extremely well.
Does anyone have reliable experience and/or authoritative literature on such covers for the touch-screen 5D4?

Hi John.
Sorry, not definitive on the 5D IV, but we have a GGS (III or IV) on Angela's 100D, it works well and seems to cause no difference in usability of the touch screen.

I use a Glass protector over the Touch screen on my G1X II, it does not affect the touch. Millions upon millons use them on their cell phones, Its not a issue.

I have the Giotto Schott glass protector on my 5d4 and the touch screen works fine - as if the protector wasn't there. You should have no problem with it.
