Cropping in camera

Hi. New here. I just have a quick question on in camera cropping. Does canon make one? The father in law has a 5DM2 and is an editing idiot I gave him lightroom 3 which I think is a very easy program to work with. He would rather have a camera that crops in camera. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hmmm.... sounds like the opposite of my teenage son, who thinks that everything can be done in Photoshop- don't worry 'bout exposure, composition, white balance, focus (Depth of field) because Photoshop can fix all...

I'm trying to teach him that the best croppinge etc. is done in camera- by using the viewfinder

If the 5D2 isn't what he is looking for in terms of cropping, I'd be happy to trade him straight up for a T3i

No problem there. We have had the in-camera technology since the days before George Eastman unleashed his once famous Kodak cameras.

Walk closer or step back. This is known as the "foot zoom". Later came lens choice. Later on came the zoom lens.
All these techniques work well for in-camera cropping, despite coming from previous centuries.
