Generally positive. The MTFs can be compared with those of EF 24-105mm f/4 L II on 5DSR https://www.ephotozine.com/article/canon-rf-24-105mm-f-4l-is-usm-review-32799 The 5DSR combo outresolves the R system because of the higher resolution sensor and absence of AA-filter and so it is difficult to make direct comparisons. But, the EF seems relatively much sharper at the edges at 105mm.

Would be somewhat disappointing if Canon again messed up this great FL zoom length.
EF Mk II wasn't that great either.

But I am looking forward so see comparisons at TDP and from uncle Roger because I think their measurements and test photos are more accurate.

Very positive, and apparently better than the EF version, only caveat being on the price.
