Canon has released a minor firmware update for the EOS 6D Mark II.</p>
<p><strong>Firmware Version 1.0.3 incorporates the following fix:</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Corrects an erroneous display that may appear when some third-party accessories are attached to the hot shoe.</li>
</ol>
<p>Firmware Version 1.0.3 is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.0.2. If the camera’s firmware is already Version 1.0.3, it is not necessary to update the firmware.</p>

Hi CR.
Well who knew, Canon can and will fix incompatibilities with third-party items where it sees fit!
I'm guessing these are studio lighting controllers and not YongNuo flash guns :eek: and must not impinge on Canon's profits like say fixing the Sigma lens issues would (and why should they, Sigma could buy the licence)!

Pretty sure that you just answered your own question.

Hmmm, Sigma Art optical performance with Canon L AF performance at Canon L pricing doesn't sound too bad to me.
