First shots from Sigma 135 Art

As I reported in another thread, the AF inconsistency I experienced with the other Art-lenses I have used is very much apparent with the 135/1.8. These are shot at oneshot, tripod mounted, focused on the white text on black background. this is a heavy crop and after a fairly thorough manual AFMA. FoCal did not work properly. The ISO should have been lower, but that does not change the AF result.

Nice pics; full of envy over the ospreys; we don't get them here, only in Scotland and a few parts of northern England.

Those are in Vermont. They were the last of the snowdrops. Not so far off from normal timing here.
