I'm not one to gush on about any specific store, but I ordered my 5d Mark III from Crutchfield (thanks again to whomever posted their availability on the 22nd) and I am pretty blown away by their service. The camera was shipped within minutes of my order, a rep called to confirm (and likely verify authenticity), and I have received a handwritten thank you note as well as a very appropriate level of emails from them since the order. I used to order some stereo odds and ends from them back in the early 2000's, but hadn't placed an order in over 8 years. I will use them again. They also have their loyalty points program so I think the purchase will also net me around $300 in other purchases with them.
While I am raving about companies, let me add that I had the dreaded Error 30 message on my 7D, and Canon turned around my camera in two days, so total time without the camera was 10 days with shipping back and forth. The shutter was broken as I expected, so the out of warranty cost was a little over $200. I shipped the 7d the same day I received the Mark III so it gave me some dedicated time to learn the new camera.
