LCD Attachment Lock Screw / Thumb Screw replacement (C200)

Canon got back to me... They charge $49.99 for it, I believe the part number is DB1-9687-000 and it's called "Canon Hinge Lock Screw"
I had a shoot last week and used a simple 7/8" screw instead... it totally worked, but it requires using a flathead screwdriver to get it in and out.. so not as simple as the thumbscrew that's included with the camera.
...but my DIY solution cost 10 cents... Hoping I can find something more inline with the stock screw that doesnt break the bank. All ears if anyone knows of something!

That looks like 1/4" - 20 tpi threads, knobs are available at every hardware store (U.S.A.).
