UPDATE
The forum will be moving to a new domain in the near future (canonrumorsforum.com). I have turned off "read-only", but I will only leave the two forum nodes you see active for the time being. I may or may not have a broken lens.
I used the 100L last night and took a few pictures without any problem. I left the lens on the camera. When I picked up the camera today, I could hear elements in the lens loudly clanking together. I took the lens off of the camera and could see through the back aperture something moving. I mounted the lens back on the camera - after it focused on an object, it took a picture that looks like it focused ok and it is no longer making a clanking sound.
I tried calling Canon Support but they aren't open on Sunday. Is this normal or should I pursue this with Canon Support tomorrow?
