Lion at Night - Kruger National Park, South Africa

We came across these lions one evening on a night drive from Skukuza camp. jokes aside, the rangers doesn't allow one to stay too long , probably because of the spotlights more so than the flash...

It was just an on camera flash, a speedlite 430 ex2 or 580 perhaps...

Thanks!. In winter, when the climate is much more pleasant and the trees has less foiliage thus easier to see the animals
