Good news for us 6d folk: The ML devs have finally figures out how Canon stores their gps values and are on to adding features, I hope we'll get some basic gps tracking ("car finder mode") or even real geocaching soon.
For the time being, nightly adds a power saving option so that gps is turned off at power down and automatically turned on again on power on ... no dead batteries anymore
