They look quite soft at 100% on the flickr set but thats probably due to no sharpening etc...

Took one of the 25,600 ISO snaps and did some NR with Topaz and Nik.... Image is very useable !!!

It's doubtful that Canon will release DPP prior to the camera coming out, so we'll just have to wait or hope Adobe is quick to act.

I too find these very soft.. Even though they were shot at F2.8 I would have expected them to be sharper..
Not to mention that they were shot with the 70-200 L II and the 24-70 LII

Considering the high ISO used, I think these shots are amazing!

The shots at 12,800 and 25,600 look as smooth and good as many SLR's at 400-800 ISO.

Looks like you'll be able to get a good shot of a black cat in a coal bin at midnight, without flash!

No wonder the 5D3 doesn't have a built-in flash.
It would rarely need one!

Sorry it took me so long to post, I had to catch my breath and clear my laugh induced watering eyes....
Are we really complaining about the over all sharpness of a full size 25k ISO image????????????????
You do not take a picture at 25k to make a poster, however for the web, magazine, small prints, that is simply amazing and straight out of the camera. I am sure you could tweak the raw to even better results and larger print.

These are simply stunning. Kudos to Canon for creating a low-light beast. The ISO performance seems similar to the D3s despite having twice the resolution.
