Hello everybody.
I'm planing on buying a second hand Canon EOS 40D, but still not shore if it is the right camera for me!
I' am a very experienced photog and love taking all sorts of pictures.
I take pictures of wildlife, landscape and macro, but do a lot of journalism too.
So one day I came across this beautiful Canon EOS 40D with a battery grip.
I did a lot of research and really like the look and feel of the camera, but here is the problem!
It's body only (+ battery grip

), so I need to find an affordable lens for it and I have a low budget. :-[
Does anybody know of a good, low budget lens (of any brand) that will allow me to take all sorts of different pictures?
Basically I want to get a cheap lens first, get used to the camera and then invest into a few other lenses!
Is a 50mm any good, or a basic kit lens, or maybe even a wide angle?
Maybe a zoom lens?
If possible a lens that allows me to take a bit of everything!
Thank you very much!
